Baptism

What Is Baptism All About?

Water baptism is a public declaration of your personal decision to follow Jesus. It’s an outward expression of the inward change that begins with salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

Baptism itself doesn’t save us; salvation comes first (Ephesians 2:8-9). However, baptism is a powerful next step that demonstrates your decision to leave your old life behind and walk in the new life Christ offers (Romans 6:4).
It’s a celebration of your commitment to live for Him, and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you!

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
